Paw & Crate is a small, independent dog-gear publication. We’re dog people who got tired of buying guides that read like ad copy — so we started writing the ones we wished existed before buying our own dogs’ gear.
How we research
We don’t accept free products in exchange for coverage, and no brand can pay for placement in our rankings. Every guide starts from manufacturer spec sheets, warranty terms, and current retail prices, cross-checked across multiple retailers. When we recommend something, it’s because the specs, the warranty, the price, and the trade-offs add up — not because someone paid us to say so.
How we make money

What we cover
Dog beds (including chew-proof and orthopedic picks), crates for anxious dogs and travelers, and hiking and everyday gear. If your dog sleeps on it, rides in it, or wears it, it’s fair game.
